Medium handmade stoneware vase - symmetrically decorated with hand built spiral relief details.
This piece has a deep, glossy black glaze, mimicking the dark reflections of night.
Pottery is an unpredictable craft and things don't always go to plan. In the spirit of not letting imperfect pieces be thrown away, I list my functional seconds in the hopes that they find a loving home.
This particular piece has one surface imperfection on the bottom of the vessel (see images). It is superficial and do not travel inside the piece, and cannot be seen unless up-turned. It is watertight and can be used as a vase.
